Bring Me Sunshine (and Rain) – August Jam

Summer has certainly brought us plenty of sunshine this year. Around Salt Lake City, we’ll admit that most folks smile a little wider when a summer rainstorm rolls through.
So this month’s jam celebrates the best of both worlds.
Janice will lead us singing songs about sunshine, moonlight, rain, daydreams, sunrises, and silver linings—then we’ll finish with one of our favorite songs, Bring Me Sunshine, a tune that has quietly become something of an unofficial Salt Lake Strummers anthem.
Because that’s really what we’re about: bringing a little more sunshine into each other’s lives through music, laughter, and friendship.
Music is only half the fun. After the jam, stay for complimentary refreshments and a chance to catch up with old friends—or make a few new ones. Some of the best conversations happen after the last chord has been strummed.
What should I bring?
* Bring your ukulele.
* Bring a friend.
* Bring a smile.
* Bring your love of music.
* We’ll provide the sunshine.
