Go Digital with Your Music Charts!

Did Santa bring you a new Apple iPad for Christmas—or do you already have one and want to learn how to keep your music charts organized digitally? This workshop is for you! We’ll show you how to use Piascore, the app most Salt Lake Strummers rely on for digital music.
No ukuleles needed—we’re focusing on making your life easier while saving paper (and trees!).

📅 Date: Wednesday, January 7 (first Wednesday of the month due to January’s calendar)
⏰ Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 Location: Holladay Library, 2150 East Murray Holladay Road
How to Prepare
- Print or download the PDF handout – see below (a printed copy may be easier to reference).
- Fully charge your iPad.
- Be familiar with basic iPad navigation.
- Know how to log in to your email and send/receive texts.
- Optional: Have your Google or Dropbox password handy if you store music charts there.
- Download the Piascore app before class (click here to link directly to the apple store)
- We highly recommend purchasing the one-time enhancement upgrade for full functionality, including sharing music on the fly.

Workshop Format
We’ll split into two groups, taught by Carla Hansen and Marci Villa, so you can learn at your level:
Piascore 1 – Getting Started (Carla Hansen)
- Navigate the app
- Download songs from the internet
- Create a setlist
- Share music with others
Piascore 2 – Enhancements (Marci Villa)
- Share music and duplicate setlists
- Download songs from iCloud or other drives
- Add paper charts by taking photos
- Use tools to improve performance
- Personalize Piascore for better organization
This is a hands-on workshop with plenty of helpers—perfect for beginners and experienced users alike!
