The September Jam is right around the corner!

This month’s jam is just like us—eclectic, unique, and full of fun! Strummers are working folks, retirees, men, women, short, tall, petite, and some not-so-petite. We have blondes, brunettes, and some heads have almost no hair. We have absolute ukulele beginners and some pretty good players. Some of us are great vocalists, and some of us just love to sing. 😉 Together, we celebrate that wonderful mix every time we strum. So this month we are celebrating our differences with a song list that reflects that same spirit: a colorful collection of old favorites (Yellow Submarine, Under the Boardwalk, Boot Scootin’ Boogie), heartfelt classics (Both Sides Now, All of Me), a splash of moonlight (Harvest Moon, Tequila Sunrise), and even a brand-new tune for the Strummers (Flowers). Most are happy, all are memorable—and all sound better when played together.
Whether you’re brand new to the uke or a seasoned strummer, come add your voice, your strings, and your uniqueness to the mix. We’ll laugh, we’ll sing, and we’ll fill the room with music that’s as varied and joyful as the people playing it.
Bring your uke, bring an old friend, bring a new friend, but bring you—because it’s our eclectic mix that makes the Strummers truly shine! 🌟
