Get ready for another joyful strum together, Salt Lake Strummers!

We’re gathering again for our July Jam, and while we don’t have a specific theme this month, we’re adding a sprinkle of sunshine by honoring Brian Wilson with a few of our favorite Beach Boys songs. Expect plenty of good vibrations as we mix in other songs from our current library for a lively summer jam.

July is a time when we celebrate freedom, and we’re grateful for the freedom to gather, to play music, and to sing whatever songs bring us joy—together. It’s a beautiful reminder that community, friendship, and music are worth celebrating all year long.

So pack your uke, load up your iPad with the songs we’ve posted here, and come ready to enjoy a wonderful time of music and connection. Whether you’ve been playing for years or are just learning your first chords, you’re welcome, and your strumming (or singing, or toe-tapping) will add to the warmth of the day.

Look for the padlock icon: A secure website will have a padlock icon in the browser’s address bar, indicating an HTTPS connection. While this doesn’t guarantee legitimacy, its absence is a red flag.
Check for suspicious discounts: We love offering special deals, but if a price seems too good to be true—like an extremely deep discount on a new, popular item—it could be a red flag. Always verify the site to be sure you’re on our official page.
Check for poor grammar or spelling: Scam sites often contain numerous typos or grammatical errors.
Verify contact information: Legitimate businesses will have clear contact information. If you can’t find a phone number, email, or physical address, be cautious.
