Strummer’s Choice
The theme for this month’s jam is “Strummer’s Choice” — featuring songs selected by our own Strummers! We received more than 120 song suggestions from 16 members, and the final song list is packed with favorites, classics, and fun surprises. Featured tunes include “A Kind of Hush,” John Prine’s “I Just Want to Dance With You,” and the timeless “Teach Your Children.”
We’ll also enjoy 3 Open Mic performances by Lisa B., LouAnn T., and Harold H. — You won’t want to miss those!
Whether you play ukulele, sing along, or just enjoy good music and good company, you are warmly invited. Beginning ukulele players, ukulele wizards, and everyone in between are welcome! Spectators and folks who just like to sing are welcome, too! And the event is always completely free.
After the music, stick around for refreshments and time to visit with fellow ukulele lovers.
This jam will also be Marci’s last time leading us until the fall, so come help us send her into summer with a room full of music, smiles, and aloha spirit!
