Rhythm & Picking Workshop with Bill Stoye

 

Ready to move beyond the basic strum? Join our fabulous drummer and ukulele player, Bill Stoye, for a hands-on workshop designed to expand your playability and deepen your sense of rhythm.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Explore why rhythm is so important in bringing out a song’s emotion
  • Practice counting techniques to find and lock into the rhythm
  • Listen to rhythmic variations and dynamics
  • Learn PIMA-style picking and apply it to songs you can start playing right away
