The Salt Lake Strummers are beyond excited to welcome Victoria “Viggy” Kolasinski to Salt Lake City for an unforgettable day of ukulele workshops!

Viggy is a dynamic fingerstyle ukulele player and educator from Long Island, New York. With over 300,000 followers across social media, she’s known for her energetic teaching style, vibrant editing, and tutorials that make ukulele skills —like strumming, fingerpicking, and percussive strumming—fun and approachable for all.

She’s been playing for over 10 years and teaching for 4, with live performances and workshops at festivals all across the country. This is your chance to learn from one of the most engaging ukulele instructors out there—in person!

We’ve convinced Viggy to host three workshops—and we recommend sticking around for all of them! Each one offers something for players at every skill level. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been jamming for years. there will be something for everyone in each workshop. And Viggy makes learning fun!

Level: Beginner-friendly
Perfect for new players—or anyone wanting to brush up on the basics. You’ll improve your strumming, work on smooth chord changes, and build confidence with fun and easy exercises.

🎾 2. Workshop 2: Fingerpickin’ Fun

Level: Intermediate
Get those fingers dancing! Learn how to fingerpick your way through chord progressions and add rich texture to your playing. Even beginners can pick up some cool new tricks here.

Level: Advanced
Ever wanted to turn your uke into a rhythm machine? Learn percussive strumming techniques to add groove and flair to your playing. Challenging, fun, and super impressive!
