March is Hawaii Month

webmaster

Aloha!  The Strummers are hitting the islands and playing some beautiful songs of Hawaii.  This has been on our wish list for awhile so let’s get into the spirit of Aloha and kanikapila (jam).

The date is Saturday, March 16th at 10:00am til noonish at the South Valley Unitarian Universalist Society, 6876 South Highland Drive.  (see map below)

Wear your Hawaiian gear, if you wish, and stay afterwards to mingle and have treats.

The setlist and a sample recording link are below.  You will have more fun if you acquaint yourself with the songs and it is noted if in the same key as our charts so you can play along. Most importantly, just listen to get the rhythm and feel.

Updates: (March 4, 10:00pm) 1) added chart for “Blue Hawaii”, 2) replaced the chart for “The Hukilau”, 3) added song: “Keep Your Eyes on the Hands”
