November Workshop: Build Your Skills, Boost Your Confidence!

webmaster

Did last month’s workshop with Ryan Taylor on “Happy” feel a bit advanced? If so, this upcoming session is just what you need! Whether you’re interested in performing with the Salt Lake Strummers someday or just want to focus on honing your ukulele and singing skills, this workshop is designed for you.

What to Expect

We’ll work through a list of 10 songs (see below) that are easier to play, letting everyone focus on areas where they want to improve. Maybe you want to work on your ukulele skills, maybe you want to work on your singing skills. Either way, we are here to help each other. So it is a great event for beginners and experts alike. There’s no pressure to be perfect—just an open space to build skills, gain confidence, and have fun.

Optional Performance Opportunity

If you’d like to share what you learn, you’ll have the chance to join us in performing these songs at an Assisted Living Center in the new year. These performances are a fantastic way to bring joy to others, and the audience is always encouraging and appreciative—making it a perfect setting for first-time performers!

Of course, performing is completely optional. Whether you’re here to prepare for the stage or just for personal growth, the main goal is to enjoy the music together.

Yes, technically, The Birdwatchers Workshop & Concert on November 16 is a workshop, but it is a special event taking the place of our monthly jam. We still want to honor our commitment to offer opportunities to learn and grow as musicians via monthly workshops. So we hope to see you at the Birdwatchers workshop, and we hope to see you at this November Monthly Workshop, too!
